Headlight issue....Can ya'll help?
My front rightheadlight has went out entirely. It's not the bulb.
There's is a wire on the right sideof the hood ofmy trunk that slid out of place. The trunk lid got slammed down onto it and the wire got cut through. It was coated in rubber but the trunk lid went through the rubber and down into the wiring. (Not completely through, just partially) Now the headlight won't work at all. I had no problems with the headlight until this happened.
Does anyone know the proper terminology/name for this wire or whatever it's called in the trunk?
I have a 2000 Civic Sedan.... Just in case ya'll need to know that....
Thanks in advance for anyone who might answer

id just like to know how ya closed the trunk on your headlight wire LOL
but if the wire is just busted just get some wire crimpers and a wire crimp conection.. cut that wire all the way thru in that spot... strip the wires back alittle and crimp the wires back together... problem solved.... but if youve closed the hood on it with the lights on ya might have blown a fuse.... so if it doesnt work after the crimp conection check all your fuses....
but i just dont see HOW ya closed your hood on those wires.... i know on my 99civic the wires are so tight you realy cannt move them afew inches

Since it runs on a circuit I know it's not the fuse because the back tail light still works, though it does blink fast as hell. Anyway...
The cord kept slippin out of place and I kept pushin it back in...One day it popped out and I didn't notice it and I slammed the trunk down...That's how it happened...
I'm a chick...What can I say...
Don't know why there's such a difference in the 99 to 2000 cuz mines a thick chunky cord thing...not tight at all!

i cannt see anything with that small of a picture....
get a larger picture
so is it in the front of the car under the hood or in the trunk?
you say headlight so i asume front......
or do you mean the taillights?
either way i cannt see why normal headlight or taillight wires should be so loose like that.....
are they HIDs? now if they are HID headlights in front then that could explain it...
but please larger pictures.... ya might have to change your preferences on photobucket so it doesnt automaticaly make the picture that small! cause my thumb is as big as that picture.LOL
