Headlight Advice
Hi all, here's the deal. A couple months ago I bought a pair of new, stock-style oem headlights for my '98 DX on ebay. I installed them and a new pair of Sylvania Xtra Vision bulbs. Well, they've never been "quite right", and tonight I decided to go by the book and adjust them accordingly. Well, that's where the fun ended. Partly operator error and partly crap lights have now made them unadjustable (vertical adjusting screws stripped??). So now I'm back in the market for new headlights. I'm leery of getting the same thing I had (one of those auctions that were $40-some a pair plus $45 shipping). There's a guy here in Indy who has essentially a Honda junkyard that I purchased an instrument cluster from last winter, so I thought I'd see what he had in the way of a good, used set of stock headlights. I'm really not interested in projection stuff and am looking to keep my cost between $100-$150. Is there any other styles (non-projector) that are reliable that'll actually give me a solid be that isn't "scattered"? If not, I thought I'd try a good, used pair that aren't yet yellowed. Thanks for any input!

Are the newer models coming with plastic lenses? I'm asking cuz my '95 VX has actual glass lenses - and I figured that Honda was sticking with the good stuff, considering other vehicles from that year and older had already gone plastic.
You know you can shine those things up [the plastic ones], keep 'em clear, and get rid of most of the yellow by using some Mother's Mag & Wheel polish right on the lenses, right?
