I fixed my car! what i ended up doing was putting electrical tape around some grounded wires under where the intake manifold is supposed to be and then replacing a blown fuse in the middle, five fuses from the driver's side door. I turned off the CEL by disconnecting the battery and when i turned the car back on it never came back. Thanks for the help

It's great to hear that you found a fix; however, I was wondering what we should learn from your experience. For example:

Do you think the fix was the ground wire tape job or the replacement of the fuse or both? Do you know what the blown fuse controls?

As an aside, in the long run, will your electrical tape on the ground wire withstand the heat from the engine?

I think that the fix was repairing the blown fuse which says controls the alternator and sp. sensor. It also controls the ELD unit and Oxygen sensors which is why I saw problems in those areas. Here is a diagram of the fuse panel and an explanation below it. http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1966666 I only put on the electrical tape as a precaution because I could not find where it was damaged. I think maybe the grounded wires lost contact with the ground for just a moment somehow and the fuse blew because of it which caused all my problems. Is this possible? I don't know but if it did then I don't have to worry about the electrical tape withstanding the heat of the engine. Hopefully this is the case and I won't have to worry about it or else I'll run into more problems later when the electrical tape stops working but we'll see. I figure that the fix was worth cause I spent less than 5 bucks in all to fix it myself instead of taking it to a mechanic that would have charged maybe hundreds in labor.
