Genuine Honda fluids, yes or no
I've seen many recommendations (off of this forum) including owners manual to use only Genuine Honda fluids. I just got a 50/50 half gallon of antifreeze and a little bottle of powersteering fluid, 11 bucks each! I was wondering what everybody else does out there, seems expensive.

I was a tech at an Acura dealer and they used all of those fluids. I try to keep everything with Honda fluids, allthough I just changed my M/T fluid with just 10-30. And, I never found out what the difference was between Honda Coolant and regular green. The shop I am at now just used regular green coolant. I miss the honda coolant though, it smelled good. lol.

RE: Genuine Honda fluids, yes or no
honda claims that their coolant uses a special chemical formula to help prolong the life of their radiators. I don't necessarily believe it, but I buy the stuff anyway since it's already premixed.
Oil? Castrol GTX, which is formulated for smaller four-bangers.
and as for MT fluid, GM Synchromesh FTW!!1
btw, changing the manual transmission fluid on my integra was a messy pain in teh ***... but a necessary evil for all manual drive cars.
