Default gears grind

even with the clutch all the way to the floor.
it kinda grinds going from 2nd to 3rd not alot but everynow and then. is it because i dont have enough oil in my engine :P

your syncros (if thats how spell it) are probly wearing out... do you have a short shifter? if so it might not be on tight and dosnt let the gear fall in properly

ha yea its a short shift. i think it might be lose. you know how like if your car is in neautral or however you spell it you can move shifter left to right freely well when im in any gear i can move it left to right just as if it was in neautral.

really? mine moves a little bit but thats it. my car would grind 2nd real bad so i checked it out . i grabbed the shifer and moved it from left to right and i could feel that it wasnt tight so i tighted em up and no more grind . so i would check that out first and go on from there.

just right under.. in the middle the exhaust runs by there so make sure its been off for a while and take a flash light of some sort lol its only one bolt i forgot wut size it was ... im guessing 16mm maybe lol

if i remember correctly its a 12 and hopefully its the right short shifter. if its not for your car the ball may be a little big not allowing to fully engage in the gear. also check ur bushings those are right there.
