gauge swap?
i have a 93 civic ex. my tach stopped working and needs replacement. i was wondering if the 96-00 gauges would swap into my cluster. i know that the clusterwon'tswap in, but the gauges lookto be the same size.that would really update the look of my interior.

RE: gauge swap?
they look about the same BUT they are different the alignment tabs and the internals, as well as indicator lights are different. some go thru the gauges face, so no way they would work.........
keep with a EX/SI cluster from a 92-95 and just pull the tach gauge and put it in your stock cluster to keep your milage true.

RE: gauge swap?
I do have a Manual cluster (with tach) that I just picked up for a spare. They normally go for 75-100 bucks on ebay. If only your tach is bad this is what I would reccommend... You can get one from an auto car (that has the gear selector things) for much cheaper and just pull the tach and replace yours. If you are interested I'd sell you mine with 158k miles for 80 plus shipping.
