Default Gauge Lights work half the time

MY tach, speedo, temp, and fuel gauge lights have finally quit. For a long time they would shut off, but if i pushed on the dimmer switch the light would come back on, now they wont turn on at all, where should i start? the wires or the dimmer switch? or should i look elsewhere?

Check out the dimmer switch first. You should be able to dismantle it & see what the problem is.

The wires normally wiggle a little. It's probably making you think that's a problem because something is loose in the dimmer unit and you're wiggling that too.
