Default fuses

Help, my wife is out of town doing school shopping for kids. The cigarette light has quit working and my wife suspects a bad fuse. She says all fuses look normal. Can not find a fuse labled for cigarette lighter or acc socket. Can anyone tell me what fuse to have her replace? I know fuses can look ok but still be blown.

this is a honda civic ? what year.
there is panel that is taken off, or opened up and on that is a labeling of the fuses.
this is true for my 1988, but dont know if they continued with that practice.

i think though that when a fuse is blown - you will see it.
i often check with an ohmmeter.

She may not be looking at them correctly, and yes, there is a fuse labeled as "acc socket" or "cig. lighter" as stated.

Tell her to pull that fuse out, and look at the small metal hoop inside, if it is broken then for some reason, the draw went above normal levels and that element disintegrated.
