Default fuel/electrical issue 2001 civic ex

Ok guys for around 2 months now I have been without a vehicle. My civic one day just decided to stop running. I have replaced the fuel pump and fuel injectors to still have an issue. I've checked the electronics on my spark plugs but I'm not losing power to them. If anyone has any ideas on where I can look next it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

Check some basics:
Turn key on but don't crank. The CEL should come on and go out. The oil and battery lights should come on and stay on.
Scan the ECU with an OBDII scanner to see if there are any codes.
Check if the cam rotates (take oil cap off and crank engine, watch for rocker arms to move. If they don't move, the timing belt is stripped.)
Do the plugs fire? (remove one coil, put a spare spark plug in the end, connect to harness, hold the plug on ground and crank).
Is fuel reaching the fuel rail? (Disconnect fuel line, direct into a clean container, turn key on don't crank, fuel should come out for a couple of seconds. Examine this sample make sure it is clean.)

Sudden death on the road is often the crank sensor (which should throw a code) or the timing belt.

well i know it isn't a timing belt issue due to the fact that the car can start up with starting fluid (although i know it wasn't a smart idea to even use it in the first place) the only possible thing i could think of it being is the fuel rail. i still wanna be sure that the coils are working properly though. thanks for the tips though

A little confuse based on avail info, so the car start and run if you spray directly into intake, so issue is no gas from the injector?

Check out going hose on fuel filter that lead to the rail? replace fuel filter?

Also have you check your main relay??

all relays have been working properly. and on the fuel system side there is no fuel filter all it is is pump, fuel lines and fuel rail. it has a strainer on the pump but that has already been replaced when i got the new pump

I think the 2001 has the regulator back at the tank and a single line to the engine. The definitive test is to measure the fuel pressure with a gauge.

Do you hear the pump running? Does any fuel come out if you disconnect the line? For these tests you could disconnect the small wire at the starter. Then when you turn the key to start, the engine will not crank, but the fuel pump should come on and stay on as long as you hold the key at III.

would it be just the same if i pull the fuse for the starter instead of having to take off the wiring to it? i don't wanna do more work than i have to.
