RE: fast flickering noise when key turned
Is it clicks or more like a grinding noise?
DUDE...STOP!!!! The sound is the starter grinding on the fly wheel.
Well if it isn't that then it sounds like the starter is pretty much done. If you pull it off of the car some auto parts stores will test it out for you. Maybe its "loose" and isn't engaging properly. Let us know if you find out.

RE: fast flickering noise when key turned
well i actually kept trying to jump it like absoulute said and after 2 tried it worked! but i wonder why bc its never happened before. You think i just need a new batterey? and another thing sometimes in the past when i would put on the brakes and almost come to a stop it would sputter like its just about to stall but then doesn't. yesterday i was working fine without the subs and hadn't left the sputtering then i put the subs in and i guess it must of been the battery that was making that wierd clicking noise. but then driving around tonight it felt like it was gonna stall when i was coming to a stop. would this have anything to do with the battery if it were dying? or would the sputtering be something else? thanks for the help guys
