Default Fascia removal to get to dials, HOW

Heluuuu, i tried to remove the fascia that goes around the dials that also goes across the dash that has the clock and hazard button, 93 civic 3dr, i need to remove the dial cluster in order to check how many bulbs are needed so i can replace them with blue led ones, im going to try this first then if no good then get some white dials, i need to take a picture of the dials anyway in order to match up a set i may, just may be able to get, depends on the holes if they match my cluster ones...Please help cos i tried removing it last night but nearly broke a piece off....

Don't try to put in blue LEDs.... the color of the dials and gauges all come from the painted clear lenses in the dash itself, not the light bulbs.

A haynes or chiltons should help you immensely on waht you need to remove to get to these bulbs though.

2000si, surely if i put blue LEDs in the dial cluster it will give a nice blue haze over the dials......
Going to but meself a haynes this weekend seeing as im keeping the car for a long time...

So what result do you think ill get by putting blue LEDs in the dial cluster, i know it wont be the same as replacing the dials but seeing as i cant get any white/indiglo dials for my car them not much choice to bling up me dash area......

spevie, becoming despondant now....LOL

The red/orange color in your dash and climate controls aren't orange because of the bulbs, they're orange because of the orange plastic film on the gauges/dials themselves.
