exhaust issue

Default exhaust issue

i have apexi cat exhaust and the other day the back of my muffler blew off? why?

did it rust off?
Did the bolts come off?
Did you look at the muffler go try and figure it out?
Or did you just post hoping we would have magical answers without picture or any informaTion?

yes i did look, i have a 99 civic with a gsr swap, people were telling me that it was to much back pressure,or something. but i did look not rusted,no bolts on my muffler never seen it. And no i wasnt hoping for some magical thing from yall, just some advice

too much back pressure? i do NOT think that is the issue. bad weldings?

i dont know maybe apexi had a defective muffler

Sounds to me like there was a problem when they welded the end on.

do you have the muffler or did it fall off when driving?

ya i still have it. the only thing that came off was the backside off the muffler the piping is still connected to it. kinda hard to explain. but just seeing if it was a problem
