engine swap??

Default engine swap??

i have a 1998 honda civic with the base model d16y7 and was wondering wat i would need to do to put in a V-Tech?? or where to fine a good used engine with the d16y7 engine code???

Upgrade to the y8 head, which has vtec. There are a plethora of opportunities regarding swapping your engine, if that is what you decide to do. Also, if your swapping for want of more power, you won't be looking at D16Y7 code, you will most likely want a B series.

Another option is turbocharger, but I'm not knowledgable about them so I won't go there.

well if i do an up grade to a B series wat would i have to do to make it work?? like wiring and stuff like that??
