Electrical short

Default Electrical short
I have a 2000 Civic and the dome light, trunk light will not light up, and the bell for key in ignition while the door is open will not ring nor will it ring if the lights are left on. Any ideas?

I would suggest that you begin by checking for a blown fuse(s) in the under-dash fuse/relay box.
