Default ecm injector problem

OK long story short i took my sons 88 dx in to have the motor rebuilt returned the car 4 times with problems finally told the guy u drive it for a day if it dont blow up ill come get it well it blew up. so he replaced it with an engine from a crx (d16a6) said its an si. had problems with smoking running bad. by this this time id had it with this guy. i found water in #3 cyl. replaced head gasket solved smoking problem. still not running right ran like it was 180 out of time. ok i know short story. #4 fuel inj not working no power. traced wire to ecm no power coming out of ecm to that wire all others have power. question is if i take cover off ecm can it be fixed. I should have done the rebuild myself.

The ECM pulses the injector wires to ground. The other side of each injector is connected to battery power through a resistor pack. So check the resistor pack and injector for continuity before tearing into the ECM.

Yes you can work on the ECM like any other electronic device.
