Default E Brake button spring?

My ebrake button is recessed, it still works fine but I'd to get it back to normal. Is there a spring inside that can be replaced? Any help appreciated.

If you don't have an assembly manual, stop by the dealership parts department and ask to see the exploded view of the handle assembly.

OR download the free PDF. hondatech.info: Honda service manuals

The spring isn't something that should wear out. It's more likely that the plastic button is stuck somehow. You can work the plastic handle back and forth to pull it off the metal ebrake handle/button. Takes a bit of work but should end up unsticking the button.
