Default DX with a car alarm?

Ok so, I have a 98 DX, and I want to convert it to power locks and windows... probably not any time soon, but eventually. So can I get a Viper alarm, install it now, then do the power converson, and hook up the alarm for keyless entry after I install the locks and windows? Or would have I have to wait and install the windows/locks and then install the alarm...

you can add them any time....... the locks are a simply 2 wire addition to the power lock switch... since most alarms use NEGATIVE triggering and hondas are negative triggered so its VERY EASY to do!!!!!

i did the same thing. it literally took me five minutes to install the lock solonoid in the door. you have to use relays though for the lock and unlock wiring though otherwise the solonoids wont get enough power. just to let you know, while the SPAL power window kit fits beautifully, none of the aftermarket window kits out there are as stong and durable as the oem parts. they just arnt made for alot of everyday use.

its new add-on parts to make manual windows power windows... and autoloc for the power lock actuators... IF you chose not to do OEM parts cause unless ya find a cheap parts car with all the wires and such... it would just be ALOT EASIER to wire up and make it work.

ive had some aftermarket power window motors before BUT never actualy used them...

SPAL is just a brand. and im my experience of installing them one of the better brands. if you can find a car audio store near you go in there and have them get out the AAMP of America binder for you. they are in there. they sell entire kits with every single thing you need, both for the windows and for the locks. autoloc is good stuff....but you are pretty mych paying for the name

very good quality. just remeber like i said, even the best aftermarket power window kits arnt made to last like the oem ones will. the lock kits will however last a long long time with no problems if installed right
