double clutching

RE: double clutching
Hmmm, double-shifting seems correct from what most people are saying, but does relate to power shifting... clutch in, shift to neutral, clutch out, clutch in, shift to a gear
But I thought power shifting was when you downshift to raise up your rpm's and increase your torque to pass or after a turn (maybe more likely while drifting). I think this would be useful if you are about to pass a guy on a track, and turning on a track, and drifting. What I do when I do this, is when I'm shifting out of the gear, I keep my foot on the gas long enough so that the rpms increase a little bit then shift to the next gear.
Clutch in, shift to neutral, clutch out, blip (rev to match next gear's rpms) gas, clutch in, shift down to a gear, clutch out.
And I haven't heard of speedshifting, but that could be the technique that implies not releasing the gas during shifts...
