Default doorlock...

The switch locks the driver's door lock, but not the passenger lock. Is this normal, or do I have to get it fixed?

by the way, I just got the car, i dont know if its a dumb question or not....

All doors should lock/unlock.The problemcould be the power door controller (inside the driver's side door), the actuator inside the passenger side door, or the wiring somewhere.I had a similar problem and found a broken wire at the door hinge, where rainwater got in and corroded the wire.

It took hours to find the problem. Once I found the problem, I went to Radio Shack andgot some wire ($3) and wire connectors ($2). And I still have a lot of leftover wire and connectors for another job.
