Arrow Dome light

Dome light works fine when i turn it on and off. But when i leave it in the middle position to come on when the door opens nothing happens. The light doesn't come on when the door opens. Shouldn't it come on? Can you guys help me figure this out. Any suggestions.

Check the door switch and the dome light switch.

Like Ronj said. Check the door switch. It might just be stuck. My 1993 blazer door switch sticks all the time. I just grab it and pull and the light comes on.

Check each door (whether you have two or four). (hey, that rhymed.) See if the light turns on with any of them.

nope, i checked all my fuses. took off the dome light and checked it. checked all along the door jam. i took apart the door switch it seems to be working fine. not stuck at least . Maybe i should check the other side. i wonder if the teo lines are tied in. maybe if one side goes out both sides don'twork. i'm running out of ideas.
