Thank you for your help! Now, should i get just a K&N air filter or an air intake? I'm not into racing or any of that stuff, but i want my car to perform really well. Could you tell me?

Thank you once again!

I put my stock airbox back on and put in a KN drop in filter and it does nothing... absolutely no difference between that and the cheap filter from pep boys. I have a 04 lx... the only difference is that I dont have to ever replace it, just clean it.

Are you serious? If it's like that, why would i spend $50 on that filter? Air intake is better then. (D'ohh!) Thew thing is that i don't wanna spend more money on something that's going to make me spend more on gas... I'm not trying to save pennies here, but since i'm not into racing and stuf... I don't know. I'd like more power though....

PLEASE I OBIOUSLY NEED HELP

Thanks!

Absolute truth FROM EXPERIENCE... I HAD INCREDIBLE GAS MILEAGE WITH MY SHORT RAM... I drove coast to coast (NC to OR) w/ my injen SRI and was pushing past 420 miles before looking for gas stations.... I took off the SRI and put the OEM box on and now i am only doing 350 when the light turns on... as for power, I got a 04 lx and it is noticeable but not incredible.

I am buying the CAI from the WestImports guy so my SRI does nothing now. You want it if it fits? I'll check to see if my SRI is for both LX and EX I am sure it is... I just want a little bit for it plus the shipping and it has a hydro shield on it too that costed me another 30 bucks as well... it was only on my car for 4 months last winter. PM me if you're interested...

You would be much better off just looking on ebay for an intake, you dont need to go fancy and get a cold air or anything like that....just pick up a regular short ram and a filter and youll be set.....not to mention they sound awesome.

I'm sorry, but i'm not sure what a RAM is. Is it some kind of Air Intake? What does CAI stands for? (C.... Air Intake?)

Yes. I will stay off eBay.

Thanks!
