does anyone have a short shifter?

if you had a problem with it, it was likely driver error. you have to match the sped of the shift with the speed of the clutch, and so if a short shifter makes the shift faster, then the clutch foot has to follow suit. if you drive it right, it wont put any more wear and tear on the trans. though it does make it a lot easier to grind the synchros.

hey sniper i have an extra short throw shifter down here if your *** ever wants to come to the bayou a pick it up. i'll let it go for half a case......[sm=icon_cheers.gif] what broke on yours? the bearing?

Make sure you get a solid steel shifter. A few of my buddies have broken theirs.
