disappearing coolant and oil???
ok, so i think i have a blown headgasket, my oil is slowly burning away (very slow rate) and my coolant is steaming out my overflow tank (just steam not actual spewing) and it is disappearing at an alarming rate. no external visual leaks and the car likes to sputter when i start it sometimes for a few minutes. and when i take off when its still sputtering, (kinda jump on it) it will over-heat til i let off the gas, then it will cool back down.<----weird
is this actual signs of a blown headgasket?
will a compression test "tell" me if its blown or just the fact that i might need new piston rings?
miles on the car is about 141xxx
thanks for any help that is given.

RE: disappearing coolant and oil???
it shouldn't be warped. once i saw the temp gauge was going up, i stopped and put coolant and water in. cooled back down instantly. the gauge never even hit the red mark. maybe just a little bit higher than 3/4.

Most likely ur headgasket psycho...but it also sounds like over heating also, maybe u should check ur thermastat! but a blown headgasket will probably do the trick,so check it out b4 it gets worse u dont wanna ruin anything else!
