Default delay responce

hi.. ive notice this problem since i reach 60,000 mileage.. (automatic-honda civic 2003)the problem is, when i hit the gas/accelerate, the responce is delay a little bit.It suppose tohit my RPM fr 2-4 but it will take at less a mili sec before it responce. normally, the problem occurs when im already running at the speed of 60-80km/hr. unlike my other car (manual-honda civic 2000)which its responding normally and give me my desire power. what could be the problem guys. is there any chance that it is because autumatic????

Default RE: delay responce

Do you mean when you're already driving and you need to go faster as in topass someonefor example?

My automatic does that... I think it's just the tranny has to realize that you need the extra power so that it will downshift for you, whereas on a manual, you are in control of when to downshift and whatnot.

EDIT: after rereading your question that's probably not it since it hasn't always done that.
