I folks.

This is my first time using this form. Hope everyone had a good Christmas and happy new year.

I have a 2002 Honda Civic LX 2 door, 1.7 L, non-VTEC. Anyway when I travel over fairly rough roads, I hear a rattling noise, which seems to be coming from inside the dash on the passenger side. I resently drove a 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid and it seems to have the same problem, although not has bad since the Hybrid has softer suspension. Does anyone know what the problem might be and any thoughts on how to fix it. It driving me crazy, I'm read to burn the car and collect the insurance, just kidding.

Maybe there's something loose in the glove compartment. A while ago, every time I turned there was a loud grinding noise coming from the back of the car. It was bugging me for days and I was afraid something was seriously wrong with my car. Turns out it was a golf ball rolling around in the truck.

Thanks for the tip, however I've already tried removing everything from the glove box and the noise is still present. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
