ok so i have a 96 civic ex with the stock d16y8 engine as some of you know. i currently blew that motor up due to lack of oil due to the oil pan gasket and rear main seal leakage. i blew the rod on the 3rd cylinder out of the engine. I found this d17a2 engine on ebay and i was wondering (although it most likely does) if it fit into my car. Also if it does would i need new motor mounts for it?


your help is appreciated as i need my car really bad.

Oh I almost forgot, would I also need a new tranny with that engine??????????? I hope not !!!
