okay i've posted about this before.. the ecu is blickin 7 times.. pauses, then blinks 7 times again.. an so on.. but anyways thats like the air charge temperature senor or something like that,, well i replaced the sensor, an the car is still doggy and the check engine light still comes on when i get on it.. any sugestions on what to do next?
the car tends to backfire sometimes too... not alot, just like once or twice every now an then..

have you pulled the + or - battery wire off for a few mins then hook it all back up to reset the ecu?

yea, i've reset the ecu twice before i replaced the senor, and once after the sensor... but its still doin it.. idk what the problem is.. i think i might just pull this dual point injection intake off and get multiport or something.

well try removing the + - again, leave it off for about 30mins (watch some tv, eat) put them back on and see if problem persists.

have you checked your cat to see if maybe its blocked?
i had a 88 dpfi civic that did the same thing and all i did was put the engine in a 91 and never had any problems, the 91 was mpfi

if you do the mpfi swap and need any ????? just ask ive doe the swap twice.

you dont need the throttle cable you can use yours,
here is a nother good diagram you can use.
also you dont pull your harness off, you cut up the si harness and add it to your dx harness.
ive done this swap 3 times if you have any ??? that it dont answer let me know i can help ya.
edit: forgot to mention you will also need the fuel line that connects to the fuel rain. the dpfi and mpfi are different
