i got a 91 honda crx si i just put a clutch in it but now it wont rev above 3000 rpm i think it might be ther cat any suggestions would help thanks

 

did you make sure you cleaned the fly wheel or resurface it? did you adjust the clutch cable? does the car run like crap? if it doesnt then you cat is prob good. and hopefully when you put the clutch kit in you didnt get grease or oil on them from your hands.

 

nah i figured out the problem is in the motor its got nothin to do with the clutch it shifts fine i just cant rev the motor above 3000 rpm it wont let me it starts bogging down and the cat was bad plus i put on a new fuel filter an o2 sensor and i still got the problem my check engine light came on goin to check to see what code it gives me tomm

 

 

ok i tried checkin codes on my car but the ecu light dosent blink at all maybe the ecu went bad but im not sure i already bought a new one and its on its way the reason i got a new one is cause my check engine light is on but the ecu isnt throwin any codes at me if someone knows about this problem an has anymore info please help
