I switch the light switch lever and my taillight still do not work, dim headlight do not work. Any other advices? All fuse are good, light bulbs are good, R L signal work, hazard lights work, headlights work and brake light works.

Did you test, bypassing the switch, with a jumper wire?

Any evidence of overheating the contacts in the switch plug?

I'm not sure how to do that? I did try what you said white wire to the red/green but i don't think i did it right. there is a wire below the fuse boxl that is not hookup, i will post some pictures soon. Where can i find a diagram on the wirings below the fuse box.

Take a piece of wire about 6 inches long and strip the ends. Unplug the light switch. On the plug for the light switch that goes to the rest of the car, push one end of your test wire into the hole for the red and green wire, and the other end into the hole for the white wire. The bare end of the wire needs to touch the brass contact inside the plug. Be careful not to touch the wire to anything metal and ground it out, as this will blow the main fuse under the hood.

Then with the wire still in place, check outside the car and see if the lights are on.

There are a few wires under the dash that don't go anywhere stock, I wouldn't worry about them at this point. There is no aftermarket alarm or anything, right?

No alarms. That guy i bought the car from he said something was wrong with the wiring, so he made a customized switch: 2 wires on the switch - 1 to the positive battery and the other to the rear lights. I don't know nothing about his wiring.

I'll try that, what if its not on? If i take it to the shop, how much would you think it will cost?

The best thing to do is undo all jury-rigged stuff the other guy did, restore wiring to stock, then find the real problem.

Short in the lighting circuit. In particular check the red and black wire to the radio if an aftermarket radio has been installed.

The red and green wire from the light switch goes into fuse 8, then after the fuse a bunch of red and black wires branch out to all the lights. All the lights on the dash area, as well as the tail lights, and the yellow lights on the front corners of the car, are all on this fuse.

The first thing though is to disconnect the battery and rip out all the stuff that the previous electrical genius did.

Did you remove the extra switch and wiring? Probably it is connected to the red / black wires under the dash. Splice those wires back together like stock.

Is fuse 8 OK? Do you have power on both sides of fuse 8? Probe the test points on the top of the fuse, measure voltage from each one to ground.
