Default creaking from front passenger side

Hi, I have a 94 civic vx hatchback.

For maybe about a month I have had a creaking noise from the front passenger side tire. When I first noticed it, it only came about while turning the wheel to the right. It wasn't for the full rotation, just at the beginning. Then I was noticing it when turning in the other direction as well, but still from the passenger side. I looked around in that area to try to figure out the cause of the noise to find that the outer cv boot was torn, so I had a mechanic friend replace the axle on the passenger side as well as driver's just to get it done together. He brought it up to his shop, had the car jacked up, didn't see any other noticable issues.

But the noise was still there. It was also discovered that if you pushed down on the car on the passenger side, you can get the creaking noise to be made.

My friend was thinking maybe it was the struts. But before I threw any more more money down, I looked around online for other possible causes of the creak. I read that it could be my bushings, so I mentioned it to him. He said that when he did the axle, the lower control arm and bushings looked fine, but he would check anyway. He also said the noise sounded like it was coming from higher up, and after he had me listen, I do agree. So he looked around and found out that there was a metal bar behind the tire (I'm unsure what it was called, but it connects to the upper control arm, the lower arm?) that had some play. He replaced the upper control arm (there turned out to be some play around the bushing we saw once it was taken off). That bar of metal is no longer loose, it's as tight as the driver's side now. There was no creak when pushed down or while driving.

Then maybe a day or so later, the creak came back while driving. I have trouble getting it to come when I push down on the car. The creaking while driving doesn't seem as frequent (or maybe that's just wishful thinking lol). Could it be the strut or related to the strut like he originally thought? Or could it be something completly unrelated? I haven't talked to him since we did the control arm, but I just wanted to throw this out there here before I talked to him, just to get some more ideas as to where to look.

Thanks.

Hey man we’re you able to find the culprit of this noise?, mine creaks at times when driving & the road is a bit rough & also when I turn the steering wheel to the right & when I bounce the car?, I changed everything on my front suspension except stabilizer links. Iwas suspecting it was my power steer pump but when I bounced the car ihear the noise coming from under the front passenger side of my suspension
