Default Crazy Blinker Problems

Have a 1991 SI with a crazy blinker problem. When the car is warm and the blinkers are used (either side) the RPM gauage and temp gauage go crazy! They flip up and down but other than that it runs fine even when the gauages freak out.... Please help no idea where to look. Relay? I don't want to dump money into parts that aren't broken....

Many Thanks!!

i hvaesimilar problem with my tach (RPM gauge) and would really like to know the answer to this as well it seems like the signal coming to the tach (and your engine temp gauge) as messed up, anyone know how to fix it?

i would tend to think that the wiring harness is shorted out somewhere, and when u turn on the blinkers, it shorts to the tach and temp wires, try checking the looms under the dash

only thing i could think of is the ground on the gauges........
easiest thing to do is check your stock ground cables under the hood.... if those arent preaty.... id replace them first and upgrade to a larger size....

but if those look fine then id day its the ground on the gauges..... see when the blinker light flashes it probably uses the same ground strip and its either a loose conection and a burned up metal strip... or the ground wire on the harness is loose or coroded not leting enough power transfere.......

just athought tho.....
