Default Crank shaft position sensor

My check engine light came on...so i took it to autozone...and it turned out i need at new crank shaft position sensor. So im wondering whats the easiest way to install...I believe i have located it. Does anyone know what the proper way is to install it?


I have a 96 honda civic EX coupe.

How do you know that the crankshaft position sensor is bad? Did the guy at AutoZone tell you that? You have to remember that these guys just work there, they aren't mechanics by trade and they don't necissarily know what they are talking about. Your crank sensor may be bad, but if its disconnected or one of the wires going to or coming from the sensor is broken you will get a code as well.
