crank no start, no codes
got a 02 civic with a d17a1. this isnt my car.. i do know that he replaced the crank and cam sensors.. car ran good, then he went to leave for work, now it wont restart.. i have checked all that i can think of.. downloaded a manuel from honda-tech and followed the troubleshooting steps.. still cant pin point problem..
got fuel, spark. timing is good.. so i dont know why its not starting.. no codes present..

Did you check for spark at all four plugs?
How did you determine that the timing is good?
Did you measure the fuel pressure?
Have you done dry versus wet compression tests of the cylinders?
Is the immobilizer light ON?
Have you looked for an intake air leak?

fuel pressure is within specs, plus i sprayed in carb cleaner
compression is excellent out of all 4 cylinders
immobilizer light is green
ive checked voltage at the cam and crank sensors, got what i should were i should, even checked voltage at the coil packs.. im gonna check the cam sensor and cranks sensor again tonight and see what the deal is there..

I followed the instructions for checking the timing in the manuel i downloaded.. from hondatech. i looked for a hose or anything that came off.. nothing off..
this car has coil on plugs, i used a inline spark checker. got sparks at all four plugs.. i sprayed brake clean into the intake.. Nothing. now thinking back to basics. when i do that it should atleast put.. for a second.. but nothing..

Are you saying you checked whether the cam and crank are perfectly synchronized at TDC1? Does the engine have a timing belt or chain?

the engine has a timing belt.
First you have to check the engine for a vacuum leak. If there is no vacuum leak and there is fuel and spark and won't start, then it has to do with a broken timing belt

the car has a timing belt, the belt is not broken, there is no vaccum leak,
yes i visually inspected the belt and timing marks. set tdc #1 timing marks right on.. intake and exhaust valves slightly loose, so i know that the valves are closed..
the more i look into this the more im starting to lean towards a bad ecm

ok.. i sprayed brake clean into the throttle body... now as long as there is spark then it should fire up.. but it doesnt, so im looking deeper into this.. i meausred voltage out of the ecm to the coil packs while cranking.. got the .5 volts
