Compressor Clutch not always engaging

The unit on the compressor with two small wires is the thermal switch. They are known to go bad. Its purpose is to shut down the compressor if it overheats. That only happens if someone keeps running the system while it is real low on refrigerant. Some people just jump out the switch.

Pressures look OK for being at idle. When you rev the engine the low side should come down. The general rule is as long as you have cold air, don't worry about the refrigerant system.
