clutch problem

clutch problem
My son has a 2001 Honda Civic had a new clutch put in about 20,000 miles ago and yesterday it would not go into a couple of gears and then would not go into reverse it makes a loud shudder when trying to do.
We thought about taking it to AAmco transmissions to see if they can figure out.
Any ideas guys,.
