Whenever I take off at a pace any faster than "gentle", I hear a popping noise coming from the rear of the car ('00 EX, btw) Imagine somebody hitting a can of pop with a spoon, it sounds kind of like that. It sounds kind of lightweight, but not quite tinny. I was thinking it was my exhaust, but I can't reproduce the sound by shaking the exhaust system. Could it be something in the suspension popping as weight is shifted onto it? If so, what? Has anyone had anything similar?

somthing in your trunk moving around? i no my spare tire makes that sound if i have it loose
