rofl probably it check the plugs, distrubuteor, oil(indicating a blown head) maybe because she was flooring it to get up a hill... over heated warped head or cracked it or something but first CHECK TEH DAMN FUEL!! lol!!!! un-connect fuel line start it and if fuel squirts out its not outty gas

its not a carbed motor...... its fuel injection... dont do that with the gas line unless you want to burn the car up!!!!! and burn ANYTHING else around the car down as well!!!!!

if its not the empty tank check all the fluids.... then pull out a spark plug and check it out..... but most likely she ran it outta gas or running LOW on gas and the steep hill made the fuel swish and the pumps pickup ran dry......
my moneys on the low fuel... typical women mistake...........

alright, she told me wrong. its a 89 accord 2barrel. She tried gas. I went up there.. I checked for fuel, yes, i smell fuel going into hte carb. Checked spark.. no spark. Changed the cap and rotor. no luck. still no spark. Changed the coil. No luck. I ran out of time and patience with it, so now its at pep boys. I would have changed the distributor, but no one has it on stock and it has to be ordered.

Check for voltage reaching the coil, if it's there it probably needs the module inside the distributor.

i already did that. voltage is reaching the coil. and on the other plug, it was hard to see, but there was voltage coming from that, but it wasnt pulsating, it just looks like a low voltage stream. so the distributor or ignition module are my next 2 steps. But i dont know which to go for.

It's not a one piece module inside the distributor like the Civics had? If it's a seperate reluctor coil you can just check the coil for ohms and faults to ground and be pretty confident it's good.

I'm talking about the pickup coil in the distributor, that drives the module.
