Hi everybody. I need some help.New to the forum. My check engine light comes on for 10 seconds when i put my car on ACC. I know its reading the ecu. How can I make my car read the ecu right away. I've already done the whole spark plugs, fuel filter, reset the ecu with the fuse in the front. It's been doing this for the last year and i can't seem to figure it out. I just want my car to start right away when i want to start the car. Could it be my fuel pump or the main relay. Somebody please help me............[:@][:@][:@][:@]

when i want to start my car right away it won't because the problem i have is that the check engine light won't shut off for 10 seconds. So that means that i can't START my car for the first ten seconds, untill the check engine light clicks off. "Do you guys have that problem. If not then tell me what does your car do then.

 

Does it come back on while driving?

 

it's supposed to just crank right up, no waiting at all.

step 1: insert your key
step 2: grasp key with fingers and turn to acc
step 3: turn to on and car will start

As long as the check engine light does not stay on or flash while the engine is running, you are alright.

 

the check engine light doesn't come on afterwards. i just want the fuel pump or what ever the sound is to click right away as soon as i put the key in on ACC. Y does it take so long for it to go through? could it be the main relay or some kind of fuse that's making it delay?

 

well, check all fuses first, then use the jumper harness and actually check for any engine codes.
