That kind of stuff is usually on OBD I, which is before 1996. I'm not sure if Hondas do that, but i know that some cars do.

Hey if your radio has a security code, better write it down before you disconnect the battery as you may need to re-enter it again to get your stereo working again. Not sure if that year has security in the radio or not but maybe a good thing to check out. Good luck!

The most simple way to reset the ECU code is to pull the "backup/radio fuse" under the hood. Leave it out for at least 10min.

I have seen a few code tools in Wal-mart for about 50 - 100 bucks, they are small handheld units like they use at autozone. Not sure if they cover Honda cars, but you never know, it's gotta be a good thing to have one for that price, if you are doing alot of engine mods.


And yes, I know I am a Wal-Mart junkie, I need to find a new place to shop.

Search Ebay for "OBD", they have some really good deals.
