i have a '98 EX and my center armrest console is loose where it can be moved side-to-side. i lifted up the center console expecting to find a screw that just needed to be tighened but alas, there is no screw. can somone tell what screw(s) need to be tightened so my console doesnt move from side-to-side anymore? thanks in advance!

 

you mean in the rear? there should be 2 screws towards the rear sides of the console BUT if the car originaly didnt have the arm rest someone probably put a arm rest in the car BUT didnt buy the brace for the rear...

 

i'm referring to the center armrest between the front two seats...i have a 4-door civic.

 

if i recall correctly, the screws are in the inside of the center console at the bottom.

 

 

i have the armrest so i'm assuming its just the four screws (2 on each side) that i have to make sure that they are tight. right?? thanks for all the help fellas!
