RE: Car alarm help
Honestly, the best way to go is lojack. It's $895 for the entire time you own your car, one payment.

RE: Car alarm help
If you want the best one, you can do this yourself, and inexpensive, check out my post about it. I would connect it to both your ignition and your fuel pump and your car will always stay put. I helped my buddy install one on his car and nobody can take it even if he left the key in it.

RE: Car alarm help
i have a similar question and since im new to the forums i dont know how to post my own topic...i have a 98 civic four door, everything stock except the sound system. i dont not have a keyless entry system nor an alarm...i was looking at a code-alarm system with the pager and everything, the only problem is that the alarm also has remote start and i have a manual transmission. i went into a couple of installers and they said they would not install the system because of the liability regarding remote starts and manuals but it was brought to my attention that there was a wire that i could install that would only allow the remote start to work if the car was in nuetral...would it be possible to get the system install without the remote start until i got the wire? and if so, does anyone know where i could get that wire...please email me at "dreamcastphysco3@aol.com" if anyone can answer any part to this question or know where i could find this information...thanks alot everyone
