im putting a b18a1 into my 98 civic ex, im trying to find out which headers i can put on it with out doing mods or if i have to not to much work, i have the tools but not the time, only if needed. im going to use ac and power steering so they have to work with those as well.

i really like these but someone told me that the header is to long and doesnt have room for the cat, is that true, if so how much work would it be to cut the exhaust and put a cat in. and will it get in the way any body parts on my 98 civic?

it looks to me that they have put the correct flange on the end to bolt straight up to the cat so i would say that it will fit fine.

its good but what about the rest of the system depending on what your car is (you said 98 ex im english and i dont know what that is) something like this

also i think its a bit expencive just to gain 14 bhp which you wouldnt get because the car on ebay is running extra tuning parts eg cams, when you could by cheap exhaust system, air filter, vtec controller if you have vtec that will give the same amount of extra power probably more. shop around is my suggestion

 

well i like the look of this one, but i got the b18a1 with different cams, getting a different cat back exhaust after x-mas, most likly a hayame, i like the sound. im going to do more upgrades as i get the money, i want a fast street car. so will it work with my 98 with hitting anything?
