Default Cant find a 12 volt outlet..

Im trying to put these light up pedals on my car and Im not exactly too car savvy so sorry if I sound ignorant. I am following these directions and everything was fine but I have to connect it to a 12 volt it says and its this little metal peice. Does anyone know where I could put that so it'll gain power?

best thing to do would be to run a new power wire off the battery with a relay triggered off the lights at night
