Unhappy Can NOT track the leak

Ok so I have an oil leak that I can't pinpoint to save my life. It's even confusing my mechanic. I had my distributor seal replaced because it was leaking pretty bad only to notice another leak. It was leaking along the left side of the tranny near the cover plate? It kinda looked like it could be the sensor and my mechanic thinks its the rear main seal. I had someone else tell me to check the vtec seal? That being a part I had never heard of I don't know where to look and my mechanic didn't know either. He put cleaner on the tranny and now the leak looks like its coming from my headers. What could be causing this?

What is your engine code? If you have vtec, there will be a solenoid on the back passenger side of the head. Googlke search will bring up pictures of the solenoid. There are a few gaskets in there.

However, oil leaks all over the trans like that sounds like a rear main seal leak. I just replaced mine when doing my clutch since it was leaking about a 1/2 quart per day.

There is no check engine light on to pull a code. My mechanic thinks it could be the rear main seal but Idk why the header looks like its leaking. Bro thinks its because my cars older I'm about to hit 190k

Leaking from the valve cover gasket will drip down on the header. There is no oil passage at the exhaust system itself.

It's a leak that looks like its from the far left header because its under. The other leak is near the plate on the tranny

You know....that's the same exact spot I had my oil leak..and it was from the distributor seal. Are you sure it's in there correctly & is the distributor on there nice & tight?

You might want to wipe down the area...wipe under the distributor(as must as you can anyway), take the car out for a 5 minute drive then check to see where the FRESH oil is coming from.

From the album, head looks clean. Block looks oily. Head gasket?
