Default camber kit?

I bought a 97 Civic DX 2dr that is dropped 2" and im riding on bare rims...i got a set of 17s free with the deal and need to buy tires, but i wanted to know if i would need to buy a camber kit as well? i hae heard some people say you need the kit and others say no.

Also, if i keep the tire height close to the same as what i am currently running, will it throw off my speedo/trip meter???
THANKS
Brad

yes you need a camber kit look at how your ride sits your tires are at a slant thats bad. Fit it with a camber kit or you`ll eat your tires alive and waste money.

Default RE: camber kit? (UPDATE)

update:
i sold the rims i had, but bought a set of graphite gray with tires already on them.

when i mounted them and drove the car it would jerk horribly and not just one direction, but both right and left! and it wasn't pulling like alignment (which was perfectly fine before adding the larger rims, which were in fact 1/2" shorter than the stock 14's I had on it).

so I take them off to get balanced maybe, and now my car pulls hard to the left with the stock 14's back on!?!?!?

I assume I definately need a camber kit, but will larger rims that are actually smaller diameter screw everythig up that bad??

to clarify, the new rims are 17" with 205/40R17 Kumho tires that are perfect
