brake lights dont work

brake lights dont work
my friends 97 civic 4 door was involved in an accident. He got the body damage repaired but as a result of the accident his brake lights stopped working. When he turns on his lights his tail lights turn on but when he hits the brake pedal nothing happens with his tail lights or 3rd brake light. I think a wire or switch or something got knocked out of place when the car was hit. Any advice, diagrams, pics would help.

RE: brake lights dont work
I am 110% sure its not the bulb my friend tried it already. I see in the diagram there is a brake light switch by that circle is that supposed to signify a connector with those two small circle ends? and where is the switch located under the brake pedal? or were are plausible places where a connecter could have come loose. it was a driver side impact and that little fuse box and some cover my friend has under the steering coloum came off as a result of the crash.

RE: brake lights dont work
yea fuses and bulbs are all good its something having to do with the brake pedal no triggering a switch for the brake lights to turn on. I am not really sure where it runs or where it connects together.
