bottoming out after moving
My girlfriend moved in with me last week. we loaded all her stuff into the back seat and the trunk and hauled it home (about 90 miles @ 70mph) and also had to keep some of the stuff in the back for a few days while i made room for it. after i unloaded everything, the back end loosk a bit low to me by maybe half and inch. now when i make some right hand corners at speeds i always take them at, the rear tire bottoms out and rubs the wheel well. I dont really see anything broken, so im thinking i blew the shock/strut (not sure which it is). What should i check to make sure thats what it is. also, is this something i could try to do myself without access to airtools.

Is it leaning to one side? Concentrate on that side. Taking the wheel off will let you see more. Could have a broken spring or bent something. The springs support the weight of the car (and everything inside) not the shocks.

both sides look about even... but it does kinna look like the back sits lower (only thing in the trunk is a 10" sub in a small box and a maybe 30lbs toolbox. finally got around to pulling a rear tire off and i dont see any thing broken or bent...
