I got new tires put on last week. However the humming was the reason for getting the tires, my old tires were junk and I figured they were the problem.

The hum did get more noticeable with the new tires but I think that's because they're super quiet and have a stiffer sidewall unlike my old tires.

I did a timing belt/water pump/tensioner last week after I got my new tires. Noise didn't change at all.

It makes the noise when I'm going straight, noise doesn't change at all with tires off the ground. Hard right turns do make it more intense. I think that's because all the weight is on that corner so the vibration transfers better.

At stand still with engine running, turn your steering wheel lock to lock (all the way, both side) and see if any noise.

I am leaning toward your belt and/or power steering pump, without seeing the car this is my guess other than that, I am stump.

There's no noise at idle when I turn. I have to be rolling for it to happen.

As I said, when I jacked up the RF (so the LF wouldn't turn) I heard no noise. It's something on the left side.

So who knows. Thanks for your help.

I got under the car with the wheels spinning and got right next to where the axles enter the tranny and couldn't hear the hum.

Is it normal to be able to hear the gears in the tranny?

It's strange, I can't really hear it outside the car but its very noticeable inside.

Ended up being LF wheel bearing.

Never had a wheel bearing sound fine when I was standing next to it yet be so loud in the cabin.

Never had one where the noise didn't change when I turned left or right.

So if you have a humming noise and wheel bearing sounds fine it still could be the bearing. Better to change that and see then to swap out a tranny.
