what is he complaining about? 5 qts of mobile 1 synth is 20 bucks at walmart. I just changed the oil on my truck and it takes 15 quarts, cost almost 100$ for an oil change. $25 is nothing, and u can get away wiht going 7K with synth oil

I went more than that. Last oil change I went 10K. When I changed it, the oil wasn't even dirty. This time I might go a little bit more...

I don't think it matters, but do I know. I have never use synthetic oil and I have 265,000 miles on the clock.

my original civic cx hatchback has 400,000 miles on the original engine and tranny and it's never had synthetic either.

but if I had a choice, i'd use synthetic in any higher performance car that I buy. It just has better friction/viscosity properties and bakes at a higher temperature.
