Default The Automatic Choke...Help me

Aright, So I have a 1.3 '95 Civic , Manual trans.

Issue is that, when I start it from cold the auto choke kicks in (as it should), but it revs to an extreme level for about 30/45 secs. Is there anyway I can adjust it so it doesnt rev as high during this period?

Thanks.

I thought they stopped using chokes [sm=smiley25.gif]
Why would u need a choke for a car with fuel injection? I alwasy thought that chokes were only for carbureated engines (spelling)

What's the idle like after it gets warmed up?

It's a 1.3, 1995 Civic Marlin.

I'm sure it uses a carb?!

Yeah it idles fine and at a normal rate after those 30 secs or so.

What exactly do you mean by "extreme level?" because my car idles at about 15-1600 right after I start it- until it gets warm. What is your idle set at?
